Travelers are required to fulfill the following requirements in order to
apply for a Spanish Visa.
- Passport with a validity of more than 6 months from the intended period of exiting the country.
- The passport should have at least two blank pages for the necessary stamp.

- Two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background.
- The photo should follow the specification for a visa application.
- Original copy of bank statement from the past three months prior to the period of visa application.

Spain Business Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The Spanish business visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of engaging in business activities while they are in Spain.
- Holders of this visa can attend seminars, trade fairs, and conferences relating to their profession during their time in the country.
- During business meetings between the applicant and their business partners, negotiation and signing of business contracts can be done.
- An official invitation letter from the Spanish company you will be visiting and their detailed address accompanied with the dates of your visit is required.
- A certificate from the applicant’s employer in Zambia confirming awareness of the trip is required.
- The letter should introduce the applicant and state the nature and duration of the business leave.
- Memorandum and Article of Association in original certified copy, Trade License, and Proprietorship/Partnership documents of the company should be provided. If the expenses of the applicant’s stay in Spain is to be taken up by the host or inviting company, it should be stated in the business letter.
- Applicants of this visa are not permitted to be paid for the services they render while they are in the country.
- If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, the original copy of their birth certificate is to be provided.
Spain Medical Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- All applicants of the medical visa must have the intention of seeking and receiving medical treatment in the country.
- A medical report from a doctor in Zambia detailing the nature of the applicant’s illness is to be provided.
- The reason the treatment is best gotten in Spain should also be stated in the letter.
- A medical attestation is required from the hospital or doctor in Spain, confirming the date of your appointment, as well as your medical situations.
- Applicants are to provide the payment receipt of medical fees for treatment in Spain.
- A guarantee letter from the applicant assuring that he/she has the capacity to cope with the extra medical costs must be provided.
- Minor applicants are to be in possession of the original copy of their birth certificates carrying both names of the parents.
- A letter of consent signed by both parents of the minor is also required.
- Holders of this visa are not allowed to work or study while they are in the country.
- All documents submitted during the visa application process must be in English.
Spain Student Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa is for foreigners who are visiting Spain for the purpose of attending study courses, training, and internships.
- Interns are to submit their letter of Internship which should be signed by the appropriate authorities.
- They are to also provide a signed agreement between the company in Spain, the establishment of origin, and them.
- A letter of acceptance from the institution the applicant has been accepted into should be provided.
- The letter should state the course the applicant will study and the duration of the study programme.
- Applicants must provide proof that they are able to pay the tuition fee of the institution they have been accepted into.
- Foreigners should submit the certificates and transcripts of the schools they have previously attended.
- If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, the original copy of their birth certificate carrying both names of the parent must be provided.
- If they will be traveling without a parent or both parents, a letter of consent signed by both parents will be required.
- International students are allowed to work in the country while studying, as long as it will not interfere with their studies.
- This visa can be extended to cover the duration of the applicant’s studies.
Spain Tourist Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa is for foreigners with the intention of visiting Spain for sightseeing, recreation, relaxation, and tourist purposes.
- Foreigners who have been invited to Spain by their friends and relatives can also apply for this visa.
- If you have been invited to Spain by your friends and relatives, a letter of invitation from the host should be provided.
- The letter should state the relationship between you and the host.
- Valid contact details of the host should be also stated in the letter.
- Applicants of this visa are free to attend festivals and events that are of interest to them while in Spain.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer in Zambia is required if the applicant is employed.
- The letter should state the job position of the applicant and the duration of the applicant’s visit to Spain.
- If the applicant is below the age of 18 years, the original copy of their birth certificate should be provided along with a notarized consent signed by both parents of the minor.
- Foreigners in Spain are not allowed to take up paid or unpaid employment or study in any institution in Spain.
- Proof of the incentive of returning to Zambia at the expiry of this visa is required.
- You are expected to abide by the rules of this visa.
Spain Transit Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- The Spanish transit visa is issued to foreigners who have the intention of transiting through Spain to their destination country.
- Foreigners transiting through Spain to their destination country should be in possession of the flight ticket to their destination country during the visa application process.
- A valid visa and other entry permits for the final country you are traveling to is required.
- This visa does not allow foreigners to work or enroll in any of the academic institutions in the country.
- If you are traveling with a minor, the original copy of the child’s birth certificate should be provided.
- A notarized consent form signed by both parents of the minor is also to be submitted.
- Receipt of paid visa application fee is required.
- You are expected to leave Spain on or before this visa expires.
- Foreigners are expected to abide by the rules guiding this visa.
Spain Work Visa Eligibility &
Requirements
- This visa is issued to foreigners who have been employed by a company in Spain to take up paid employment.
- The applicant is to submit two visa application forms as opposed to one.
- A letter from the applicant’s employer in Spain printed on the company’s letterhead and signed by an authorized signatory should be provided.
- An employment contract signed by both the employer and employee should be provided during the visa application process.
- Proof that there was no Spanish citizen willing and qualified to take up the job before the foreigner was given the employment contract is required.
- The employer should provide proof that the employee will not be paid below the minimum wage during the period of employment.
- Foreigners who do not have the qualifications that match the job they have been offered will not be issued this visa.
- Foreigners who want to work in Spain are required to apply for a work permit.
- A copy of the applicant’s resume or CV should be provided.
- All documents must be translated into English language if they are not already in English.
