Kathryn Dennis husband is her long-term boyfriend Chleb Ravenell. According to The U.S. Sun, the reality star has shared the wedding picture on her Instagram story.

On the Instagram story, she had posted the pictures at a wedding venue while wearing a white dress, Southern Charm fans insist Kathryn got married to her boyfriend Chleb.

Chleb appeared to propose to her in an Instagram story clip shared by Chelsea Shea, a makeup artist. She wore a knee-length lace white dress in the video.

Then, as she posed for photos in a chapel she changed into what seemed to be a wedding dress and sheer shawl. Soon, Chleb joined her to pose for photos as he held her around her waist.

After seeing all these details regarding the pictures their fans took to both Instagram and Twitter to insist that the couple got married.

Dennis started dating Chleb Ravenell and both were together since the mid of 2020, over the summer, though it wasn’t until October that they went Instagram official. 

The reality TV personality has been taking her relationship with Chleb, a creative director, seriously. In February she revealed to People that they are building a future together. She also added that it is an adult relationship for her to be with him.

Chleb and Kathryn had moved into a Charleston apartment together in 2020 and she seems excited to have him as a father figure for her children. She had also told E! News in February that he is great with the kids and they also love him a lot.

Everything was perfect with them but sadely they announced that they quit. After more than one year in a relationship, on November 2021 as per US Weekly, she broke up with him and they are no longer living together.

It was also said that Dennis wanted to get married again and have more kids and Chleb apparently wasn’t ready for it. The Insider reported that she desires a future spouse who is a fantastic stepfather to her kids and is willing to make a significant commitment. Unfortunately, Chleb did not meet those criteria.

Kathryn has since removed all of her Instagram pictures with her former partner.

Kathryn Has Dated Thomas Ravenel In The Past 

Kathryn Dennis had a romantic affair with Thomas Ravenel, a fellow cast member of Southern Charm. The couple share two children together.

Thomas, after his divorce from his wife Mary Ryan Ravenel, had dated Kathryn. They both starred on the reality show Southern Charm where they first met each other. Though Thomas is 30 years elder than Dennis the two appeared to adore each other and eventually fell in love.

The first split started to appear in their relationship in 2014, but they resolve and reunite after their daughter Kensington’s birth. In May 2016, the problems between them arise to be bigger, and they have been in a legal feud ever since.

Following their separation, the two have been managing their custody dispute. Due to her drug addiction, Kathryn lost her kid’s custody and was barred from meeting them.

However, she didn’t give up on the case and again filed an appeal in court after spending tie in rehabilitation. Finally, in November 2019 the battle was resolved. Both parents share custody of their children.

Kathryn Dennis kids include a nine-year-old daughter Kensington Calhoun Ravenel and a seven years old son named St. Julien Rembert Ravenel.

As soon she started to date Thomas in 2014, they welcomed two children together daughter Kensington was born on 23 March 2014 and a son St. Juien was born on 9 November 2015.

After their separation. In November 2019 the two got mutual custody of their children. But, recently on 2nd May 2023 as per Screenrant, Kathryn Dennis loses custody of the kids to her ex-boyfriend Thomas Ravenel after the judge’s ruling gave full custody to her ex, Thomas.

• 2016

After testing positive for marijuana, opiates, and cocaine Kathryn lost full custody of her kids and went to rehab. Then, Thomas was given temporary full custody.

• 2018

Kathryn filed a motion seeking primary custody of the children after Thomas was charged with assault by his children’s former nanny, Gawn Ledwell.

• 2019

Primary legal custody of their kids was given to Thomas while they shared joint custody. To hire a full-time nanny the actress was given an ordered and visitation schedule.

• 2020

Despite joint custody, Thomas was compelled to file an emergency motion for sole custody after a series of disturbing events occurred while their children were in the care of Kathryn.

• 2021

Kathryn lost joint custody of the kids. A South Carolina judge ruled that she would be restricted to supervised visitation every other weekend, and Thomas was awarded temporary primary legal custody. 

• 2022

Kathryn’s legal team, lawyers Pete Currwnce, and Susan Rawls Strom fired her as a client over a lack of communication and non-payment. 

• 2023

Thomas was given permanent sole custody which provides him full decision-making authority over the children which includes their education, health care, travel, and others. Additionally, no nights and only supervised visitation, every other weekend during the 9:00 am- 7:00 pm was granted to her.

The Reason Behind The Lost Of Custody To Kathryn

Kathryn drug use, a series of careless actions, and inattentive parenting placed her kids at risk were the main reasons that she lost custody.

The document which was disclosed by the court tells that she abuses alcohol, and drugs and suffers from a multitude of mental health disorders. There were different incidents regarding her carelessness:

• Back in 2020, when their son was in the mother’s care for a visit then a neighbor witnesses the child wandering in traffic. Then, the neighbor dropped the child back to her mother’s home. But, after it again happened for the second time on the same day the bystander called the police.

Though she has not got legal custody of her kids she enjoys the moments with them. Time and again, she shared the picture with them. On 19 December 2022, she posted photos of her with them in The Charleston Place captioning hearts in her eyes for them.

Meanwhile, on 20 December 2022, they had their special time in Seacoast Church- Mount Pleasant.

Kathryn Dennis parents are father Luke Dennis and mother Allison Dennis. Kathryn was raised with her older brother Luke Dennis Jr. in Berkeley County, South Carolina.

Her mother Allison passed away on 7th August 2019 due to extended illness at the age of 59. Her father is said to be a music composer and editor and has given music for different TV series and movies.

Luke got married in the year 2018 with his fiancee Natalie Verenes, in Columbia, South Carolina on 8th December.

John C. Calhoun

John Caldwell Calhoun was a political theorist and statesman who hailed from South Carolina in the United States. John held many positions including the seventh vice president of the United States from 1825-1832.

Kathryn’s middle initial represents the name Calhoun, which is derived from her family’s lineage from John C. Calhoun. In 1810, with the election to the House of Representatives, he started his political career.

Under President James Monroe he served as Secretary of War. As vice president in 1832, he resigned and accessed the Senate. Under John Tyler, he worked as Secretary of Stae from 1844-1845. He was also known as the cast iron man for his defense of white Southern beliefs and practices. 

Rembert C. Dennis

Rembert Coney Dennis was a politician who served in South Carolina government in the United States. As a member of the Democratic Party from 1943-1988 he served in the South Carolina Senate.

His name isn’t as recognizable as Calhoun’s but he was one of the most influential legislators of his time.

For Berkeley County Dennis was elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives in 1938. after his father Edward James Dennis Sr., and his grandfather Edward James Dennis, Sr to represent Berkeley County he was the third generation of the Dennis family.

After the death of Marion Gressette, he also served as the President Pro Tempore of the Senate from 1984-1988.
