Although the two had signed a prenup before their wedding, Sonja still managed to receive a lump sum payment of $3 million from the divorce. Similarly, the court also awarded her a monthly alimony of $15 thousand along with a monthly child support of $12,500.

Where Does Sonja Morgan Live

Sonja Morgan townhouse address is 162 E 63rd St, New York. The house, constructed in 1999, is 4500 sq. feet in area.

Sonja has listed her townhouse for nearly a decade; however, she is finding it difficult to rent or sell the house. The Real Housewives star bought the house when she was married to John.

In 2013, Morgan listed the property for sale with a price tag of $9.95 million but had to take it off amid a bankruptcy case. When the case was settled in 2015, she got the house back.

Sonja eventually rented out the house for a few years. However, it was vacated during the pandemic after which the 59-year-old moved into the property. Although the house went unsold for years, Morgan didn’t give up hope.

She renovated the house and re-listed it in 2022 for an asking price of $8.75 million. Unfortunately, she still couldn’t find a buyer. In February 2023, Sonja reduced the price further by $1.25 and relisted the property for $7.5 million.

Morgan even hired the services of the reputed real estate firm Leslie J Garfield & Co, but the house still went unsold. At this point, Sonja calls the house a financial and emotional drain and just wants to get rid of it.

The five-storied property has four bedrooms, a dining room with a fireplace, five bathrooms, an eat-in kitchen, two half-bathrooms, and a backyard garden.
