Lady Joan Hardy is mostly recognized as the wife of Sir James Hardy.
Joan married Sir James Hardy in December 1991 and left to pursue an even busier schedule in support of James’s career and appearances both domestically and abroad. She has since volunteered for a variety of community organizations, including the pinkyellowblueball, where she assumed the role of Patron in 2003.
Sir James Hardy’s wife Joan and their two sons, David and Richard, are all still living. There is no doubt that Sir James’s passion for winemaking and sailing, which dominated his life, has been passed down to his sons.
The Hardy family played a significant part in the wine industry, with Sir James in charge of managing and exerting significant influence over their wine business. The family firm experienced a transformation when it joined the Accolade group of wines in 2003. It opened up new opportunities and markets for their wine products.
Sir James never wavered in his dedication to sailing, charity work, or his priority of family. His wife and kids played a significant role in his support system, sharing in his successes, setbacks, and joyous occasions.
