Raoul Moat Ex-girlfriend Samantha Stobbar

Raoul Moat, who went on a shooting rampage in 2010, is known for dating Samantha Stobbart. Six years had passed since Stobbart and Moat began dating before he made a shotgun murder attempt on her.

Together, they had a daughter named Chanel, who was four years old when the shooting occurred.

While Moat was incarcerated, Stobbart began dating Chris Brown, a karate instructor. In an interview with the Daily Star, her sister Claire Burdis revealed that Stobbart was “terrified of Raoul” and wished for him to avoid her.

The fact that Moat was in a new relationship became her obsession. Moments after shooting Brown with a double-barrelled sawn-off shotgun on July 3, 2010, Moat shot Stobbart through a friend’s home window.

This occurred just days after his release from prison. According to Stobbart’s account of the events, Moat shot Brown in front of her before turning to point the rifle at her legs.

She panicked since her kid was upstairs and raced back to the house but couldn’t find the keys to lock the door. Stobbart was transported to the neighboring Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead after being wounded in the left arm and abdomen.

Stobbart was in critical condition for a few days before being deemed stable and discharged from the hospital on July 17.
