Early this morning, the official Facebook page of Shiraz- Rude Bwoy Lankan posted an obituary notice on the sudden demise of the rapper. As per the statement, he died after his performance at the GotaGoaHome Protest on 12th April 2022.
The statement read, “Sri Lankan Reggae, Dancehall Rap King Collapsed soon after his performance on 12.04.2022 at the GotaGoaHome Protest.” It further said, “On his behalf I take this opportunity to thank you all his family and fans here and around the globe for supporting him through his long journey.”

“A popular rap artist in Sri Lanka titled “Rude Bwoy Lankan” aka Shiraz passed away at the Peoples’ Protest premised early this morning, following his performance “Get Up Stand Up” by Boby Marly, reported NewsNow360 on Twitter.
