Shania Twain Biography and Life Story

Shania Twain has really been a revered figure in her homeland in the category of Musical Event of the Year at the 39th Annual CMA Awards in 2005, since she was given the Order of Canada, the highest honor in the world, on November 18, 2005 for her tireless attempt to end child hunger. Set to perform on Donald Trump’s “The Apprentice” program at the end of November of the same year, this striking artist proceeded to pay serious attention to the world’s affairs as she was expected to host a charity auction for the benefit of the Second Harvest Food Bank of America, also held in November.
From such an early age, the curiosity and passion of Shania for music developed. Little Shania spent all of her time learning to play guitar as well as performing at the local pubs, radio, television stations, and community activities, unlike most other girls. Furthermore, at the age of thirteen, she participated on the CBC television program, “The Tommy Hunter Show” and was also the vocalist of a local band called “The Longshot” during her high school. Singing then became her primary source of life after the death of her parents on November 1, 1987, after then bringing a turning point in her life.

Founded in Windsor, Ontario, Canada, on August 28, 1965, as Eilleen Regina Edwards, Shania was raised in Timmins, Ontario by her mum, Sharon Edwards, and her adoptive father, Johnny Twain, an Ojibwa resident. 22-year-old Shania was left to help the lives of her younger sister and half-brothers after her parents passed away due to a car crash. She relocated to Huntsville, Ontario, bringing her siblings along, and employed at the Deerhurst Resort as a singer. In 1991, she was requested to record a demo tape by an entertainment lawyer from Nashville after reading about her showcase concert in Canada. “Shania”Shania,”I’m on my way”I’m on my way.

Finally, Shania released her debut album in 1993, a self-titled one. The album was very popular in Europe, despite becoming a modest hit in the United States, and was appointed Country Music Television Europe’s Rising Video Star of the Year. It turned out that a music producer called Robert John “Mutt” Lange listened to her first song, and then decided to support her work on her second album. They agreed to get married by the end of 1993 and collaborated hand-in-hand to compose songs in the forthcoming album of Shania, “The Woman in Me.” Their partnership proved a splendid outcome towards the album when it was launched in 1995, jumped to the top spot of the Top Country Albums List of Billboard while also hitting fifth place at The Billboard 200. In comparison, during the year of 1996, the album sold beautifully for 18 million copies around the world, becoming multi platinum in addition to making the pair a huge hit.
