Shahzada Dawood net worth at time of death

Shahzada Dawood and his family left their London home and traveled to Canada for one month. Shahzada, a Titanic aficionado with a long-standing interest in science and exploration, made plans for himself and his son Suleman to board the Titan submersible over Father’s Day weekend.

Their goal was to see the Titanic’s wreckage, which sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in 1912 after colliding with an iceberg. The intended dive would take them to a depth of 3,800 meters (12,500 feet) and last about eight hours. The descent began on the morning of June 18, 2023.

Unfortunately, the Titan lost contact with the surface vessel, the MV Polar Prince, about an hour and a half into the dive. Extensive search-and-rescue operations were started, involving marine and air support from the United States, Canada, and France.

The United States Coast Guard reported the discovery of debris roughly 490 meters (1,600 ft) off the Titanic’s bow on June 22, 2023. The debris was described as evidence of a catastrophic pressure chamber failure.

As a result, it was determined that all passengers on board the Titan, including Dawood, his son, Hamish Harding, Paul-Henri Nargeolet, and OceanGate CEO Stockton Rush, perished in the disaster.
