Doug got infected by coronavirus when he was visiting El Salvador in November 2021. He was asking his friend’s help in getting monoclonal antibodies which he could not find in El Salvador.
Ericksen then arranged a medical evacuation flight and admitted himself into a Florida Hospital where he was being treated for the virus.
