Senator: Who Is Bob Dole Wife Phyllis Holden?
Bob Dole married Phyllis Holden, an occupational therapist at a veterans hospital, three months after they met in Battle Creek, Michigan, in 1948.
On October 15, 1954, their daughter, Robin, was born. On January 11, 1972, Dole and Holden divorced. On April 22, 2008, Holden passed away.
In 1972, Dole met his second wife, Elizabeth. On December 6, 1975, the pair married. But, unfortunately, they don’t have any kids.
Dole is a Russell Lodge No. 177 in Russell, Kansas, and is a Freemason. Dole was raised to the Scottish Rite’s 33rd degree in 1975.
In conversation, Dole frequently refers to himself in the third person. He is unrelated to the Dole Food Company or its namesake James Dole, despite the mayor of Izmir, Burhanettin Ozfatura, banned the sale of Dole bananas in the city in February 1995 due to confusion between the two.
