Secret Service Agents Arrested: Haider Ali And Arian Taherzadeh Nationality
Secret service agents named Arian Taherzadeh and Haider Ali were arrested on Wednesday night when cops swarmed the upscale Crossing Apartments in Washington, D.C.’s Navy Yard neighborhood.
They were charged with the false impersonation of a federal officer. It was reported that Arain delivered a $2,000 assault gun to one of the misleading agents on first lady Jill Biden’s security detail. The alleged are also suspected of offering a fancy apartment worth more than $40,000 per year to an agent.
Their deception was encountered when postal inspectors were investigating an attack on a mail delivery employee at the suspects’ apartment complex last month. They were later informed to the cops by the homeowners stating that the two guys claimed to be DHS special agents. Those two men allegedly mounted surveillance in the building and notified other tenants that they could access their devices and personal data.
Upon investigations, multiple firearms, law enforcement equipment, servers, and hard drives were discovered. They also found Department of Homeland Security and Naval Criminal Investigative Service training manuals. However, they couldn’t understand why the two went to such lengths to ingratiate themselves with federal officers.
In addition to that, Ali had a connection to Pakistan’s main spy agency, the Inter-Services Intelligence. His passports also contained old Pakistani and Iranian visas, prosecutors said, according to the source. However, their ties to Pakistan are not mentioned in any charging documents, and prosecutors noted that they hadn’t verified Ali’s claims.
Furthermore, both men are currently reported to be U.S. citizens, according to the prosecutors.
Where Are They Now?
