They will sport the original blue tint, their primary color, before the 2002 wardrobe restructuring. They will combine them with white bottoms. It will include the thick blue and forest green stripe up to the mid-knee.

Similarly, the primary emblem with a forest green neck and eye, used from 1967 to 2001, also makes a return. It will be on the silver helmet and the arm region.

Another essential component that is getting a restoration is the collar stripes. The designing team has done a heck of a job assembling minute details from the past and making it an actual throwback attire that fans were desperately waiting for.

Seattle Seahawks New Jerseys

Seattle Seahawks new uniforms 2023 is the throwback jersey representing the 1990s era. The present-day attire saw an overhaul in 2012.

Nike redesigned the Seahawks’ attire in 2012 and brought back silver pants. They introduced three sets that had nine probable combinations.

For the first time, the emblem on the helmet was slightly titled, and the wraps intertwined at the back. The dark blue headpiece had grey feather patterns on the top, all the way to the back.

The logo was revamped as well. It was more animated, and the curves looked sharper and crispier, while the bird’s head looked more intimidating.

All the numbers on the front and back were bordered in lime green and had a feather texture. The famous stripes no longer exist.

The pants consist of twelve feathers from hip to mid-knee. It is an homage to the support and admiration of their fans, which they call the 12th Man.

The present-day combination is given below:

  • Home: Navy jersey and navy pants/silver pants
  • Away: White jersey and white pants/silver pants/navy pants
  • Alternate 1: All-Wolf grey
  • Alternate 2: All-Action Green

Seahawks 90s Uniform

Seattle Seahawks 90s uniform had the classic blue jersey and silver pants in their home kit. It reflected the team’s identity introduced in 1976.

The attire from the 1990s was altered a bit in 1991. The stripes were made a bit narrower than the 1983’s version.

The tops’ numerals were painted in white. A black lining was present above the numbers and around the shoulder and arm region.

Likewise, the arms had green and blue stripes with white borders. Inside the stripes were the royal blue and forest green osprey’s head, the team’s logo. It was present on both sides.

A silver helmet made the attire even more appealing. The head equipment had the franchise’s logo on either side above the ear, with its royal blue, white, and forest green following to the back.

The road attire was white tops and silver bottoms. The numerals were in royal blue, and other details were the same.

The Seahawks sported these costumes till 2001.

Uniform History

Seattle Seahawks uniform history dates back to their inaugural season in the NFL in 1976. They donned royal blue and silver.

Another iteration was made in 1983. The design changed slightly as the team logo was placed on the arm stripes. The stripes were toned down.

They no longer had stripes on their socks. The facemask of the helmet was changed from silver to royal blue.

Lastly, the numbers were placed on shoulders instead of arms.

Likewise, from 1991 to 2001, they had the same design, color, and pattern with little changes, which can go unnoticed.

They toned down the numeral’s bulkiness and trimmed the stripes.

2002-2011

A heavy alteration was made in 2002 when the team moved to NFC. That year, they inaugurated the Seahawks Stadium (now known as Lumen Field).

The team turned all blue for the 2002 season. They had two tones of blue in their jersey.

A lighted “Seahawks Blue” was used in the bottoms and the front and back of the tops. The arms had a darker “Seahawks Navy.”

The neck and arm region had a lining of lime green.

The primary emblem was redesigned then and no longer contained forest green. It now had darker “Seahawks Navy” and lighter “Seahawks Blue.”

The eye had lime green. The bird’s head had a fiercer look.

The helmet and t-shirt’s arms carried the revamped emblem. The headwear was changed to blue with a darker navy facemask.

The white pants from the away kit were combined in the home jersey and vice versa. They implemented the system from 2002 to 2007.

Similarly, in 2009 the franchise opted for darker navy pants.

2012-Present

The present-day set with nine different combinations first debuted in the 2012 campaign. The availability of three different sets allows them to use different combinations.

They donned the blue kit for the first time on 16th September 2012 opposite Dallas Cowboys.

In 2016, they introduced a color rush set. It was an all-Action Green.

It debuted on 16th December 2016 opposite Los Angeles Rams at Lumen Field. It was the first time they were seen in green attire in seven years.
