Savannah Guthrie health: What sickness does Savannah Guthrie have?

In honor of her great-grandmother, Savannah Clark Guthrie was born in Melbourne, Australia, where her father was sent for work.

Two years later, her family relocated to Tucson, Arizona, after coming back to the country.

Guthrie first visited Australia in 2015 while working for Today, fulfilling what she called a “lifelong desire” of hers.

She traveled with her mother, Nancy, to Sandringham, Victoria, a wealthy seaside resort 16 kilometers (10 miles) southeast of Melbourne’s central business area, to see the maternity ward at Sandringham Hospital, where she was born.

Guthrie has recently tested positive for COVID-19 three times, as evidenced by the following: On January 10, 2022, it was revealed that Guthrie had tested positive for the first time for the COVID-19 Deltacron hybrid version, claiming on-air that she had “small sniffs and not much more than that.”

One week after Hoda Kotb, another Today co-host, also tested positive for the hybrid strain, Guthrie received her diagnosis.
