Sylvester Stallone and Sasha Czack ‘devastated’ by death of son Sage

It remains unclear how he died, but Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said there were no suspicious circumstances. The Rambo actor’s publicist Michelle Bega said: ‘Sylvester Stallone is devastated and grief-stricken over the sudden loss of his son. ‘His compassion and thoughts are with Sage’s mother, Sasha.’ Sage’s lawyer and friend George Braunstein said Stallone’s first wife was shocked by her son’s death. ‘His mother is devastated,’ he told E! News. ‘They’re trying to sort everything out and plan a funeral. [Sylvester] called, he’s upset too. They may be celebs, but they’re regular parents. It’s tragic.’ Initial reports suggested Sage had taken an overdose of prescription drugs, but LAPD have now said those claims were premature. Commander Andrew Smith told People an autopsy was planned and that it would involve a toxicology report, adding: ‘It could have been a heart attack or a stroke.’ No suicide note was found at the scene and Braunstein said there was no reason for Sage to have taken an overdose. ‘He was very creative, energetic and very full of life. We were just joking about how he was going to get married and have a fun marriage,’ he said. ‘There was nothing dark or depressing, no problems, certainly no financial problems.’ He added he had never seen Sage drink alcohol or take drugs.
