Sarah Molan Is Erin Molan’s Sister
Sarah Molan came into the public eyes after her sister, Erin Molan, and her mother talked about her cancer in an interview.
Imagine being their parents and watching Erin Molan’s conversation with her sister, bowel cancer survivor Sarah, on The Footy Show that mentions the hard times faced by Sarah.
At this time, Sarah is 36 years old. Although she no longer has cancer, she still undergoes the routine of six-monthly and yearly tests. She previously worked as a college instructor in Nyah, in northern Victoria.
She began to worry about the amount of weight she was losing and that she was experiencing so much diarrhea in the weeks following the birth of her son, Angus, who is now seven years old.
At age 29, she received a stage three colon cancer diagnosis, which is the opposite of the regular bowel cancer patient’s age. However, she never stopped receiving support and care from her sister.
Where Is Sarah Molan Now?
Sarah Molan has probably recovered from her cancer and is in good health as of 2022.
When Sarah returned home for Christmas, blood began to appear in her diarrhea. Sarah might, at worst, have celiac disease, the family speculated.
Her mother persuaded her to visit her neighborhood doctor, Dr. Ross Hendry of Queanbeyan, who performed blood tests and recommended she see Dr. Graham Magarry, a gastroenterologist at Deakin University.
Familial adenomatous polyposis (FAP), a genetic disorder that begins off benign but can progress to malignancy, was the doctor’s diagnosis.
The diagnosis was delivered following a colonoscopy at Calvary Hospital completely shocked Sarah and her father. This retired major general was instrumental in the coalition forces in Iraq.
