MANILA — Sarah Lahbati has given birth to a healthy baby boy.
On Wednesday, Lahbati took to Instagram to share an image of her with fiance Richard Gutierrez and their newborn.
The photo shows the actress cradling their baby boy.
In a previous interview, Lahbati described that the timing of her pregnancy could not have been more perfect.
“Tamang-tama lang ang panahon na nabuntis ako because Zion is already four, and actually araw-araw na niya akong kinukulit na, ‘Mama, I want a brother! I want a sister!’” she said at the time.

The actress took to Twitter to call out those who have been shaming her on social media for her pregnant body, saying that women should not be disrespected for carrying a child.
“I’m six months pregnant and getting body shamed. ‘Ang taba mo,’ ‘ang laki mo,’ ‘loshang,’ etc. Did you forget that I am carrying a child? I am growing a baby inside of me and you are shaming me. This just doesn’t happen to me. What happened to women supporting each other? Praising each other as mothers? Why can’t we accept that our bodies are made to change during pregnancy because there is a growing baby inside?” Lahbati said.
“Respect pregnant women and think before you judge or open your mouth. If you’re here to do that and be disrespectful, unfollow me and get out of my page. I deserve respect and will not allow anyone to step on me for being pregnant. This goes out to all pregnant women. We all deserve to be happy and focus on our growing baby. Let’s stay positive, happy, and mind our own business, everyone!”

It was only last September that Lahbati revealed that she’s expecting. She said she delayed confirming her pregnancy after doctors put her on bed rest due to concerns over her baby’s heartbeat.

Sarah Lahbati asks for prayers as mom recovers from drowning incident
Sarah Lahbati appealed on Wednesday to her followers on social media, asking them to pray for her mother’s health.
The actress posted a photo showing her hugging her mother, who “vomited blood” after a drowning incident in Siargao, at a hospital.
“Please continue praying for my mama. She’s finally back in Manila but her lungs are infected from the drowning yesterday and she is still in pain from the loss of blood when she vomited.”
“She has a fever, no energy, and no appetite . . . Lord, please heal her. Please. Please pray for her,” Lahbati wrote.
The incident happened Tuesday, with Lahbati revealing that her mother had been taking swimming lessons.
She described her mom as a “good” swimmer, but added that the currents that day “were too strong and she drowned.”
“I’ve been crying and shaking. This has never happened before,” she shared to her followers.
