Sameta High School Details and Description
Sameta Boys’ Secondary School is a religious organization sponsored boys’ boarding school located in Sameta Sub location, in Kisii County.
Sameta High School seems to have risen up from the slumber and has realized their position. This is after recording a tremendous performance in the last year’s Kenya Certificate of Secondary education. Speaking to the writer in his office Sameta High School Principal, Clement Nyang’acha, said they are on move to high grounds. Nyang’acha disclosed that the school’s mean improved from 5.7 in 2012 and 2013 respectively to 7.35 in 2014 KCSE results. The School Principal said that the school has had its share of challenges in the past but now they have set to change the negative public perception in their performance. He also said he was optimistic that the school’s young and energetic teaching staff will turn around the institution’s performance in national examinations. The Principal challenged local communities to support local schools to enhance their performance.
