Samantha Markle And Thomas Markle Jnr: Meet Meghan Markle’s Siblings

Meghan Markle has been in the spotlight since her marriage to Prince Harry. Several members of Meghan’s family have spoken out about her in the press since she began her romance with Prince William’s younger brother – but who are her siblings?

Who are Meghan Markle’s siblings?

Samantha Markle and Thomas Markle Jr. are the Duchess of Sussex’s half-siblings through her father’s side. Her father’s previous marriage to Roslyn Markle produced the siblings. Thomas Markle Sr and Doria Loyce Ragland divorced when Meghan was six years old. After their relationship ended, neither of her parents remarried.

Who is Samantha Grant?

Samantha Markle, sometimes known as Samantha Grant, is Meghan’s older sister. She is well-known for her strong feelings about her sister joining the Royal Family, which she has expressed in several interviews. Samantha has three children and resides in Florida.

She has been using a wheelchair since she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2008. Samantha wrote a book called The Diary of Princess Pushy’s Sister, which will be released in January 2021. The book contains data about their “home life” as well as “never-before-seen photographs.”

Samantha aggressively chastised Meghan on Twitter when she claimed she had not received an invitation to the Royal Wedding in 2018. She was also not invited to Meghan’s first wedding to Trevor Engelson, which took place in Jamaica in 2011.

Meghan is reported to have attacked Samantha in a five-page letter to her father Thomas, stating she “manufactured” lies and that she, Meghan, scarcely knew her half-sister.

Meghan emphasized this argument further in her explosive interview with Oprah in 2021, saying she “grew up as an only child” and that the last time she saw Samantha was roughly 19 years ago.

Who is Thomas Markle Jr.?

Thomas Markle Jr. is named after his and Meghan’s father, a Hollywood lighting director. When Meghan was born, he was 14 years old and lived with his father, sister Samantha, and Meghan’s mother. Thomas works as a window fitter and lives with his partner Darlene Blout in Grant’s Pass, Oregon.

Although Thomas was not invited to his half-sister’s wedding, he publicly congratulated her on the birth of her first child, Archie. He has also asked Meghan to contact their father, claiming in an exclusive interview with The Sun that he hoped Archie might fix their family split.

Thomas revealed on Celebrity Big Brother Australia that he used to be close to his sister Meghan, but that “money changed her” once she moved to Canada for employment.

Do Samantha and Thomas have any children?

Samantha’s three children have Meghan as an aunt. Noelle Rasmussen, one of Samantha’s children, is reportedly alienated from her mother and lives with her grandmother. Scott, her father, was married to Samantha until 2003.
