A shooting at a Texas elementary school on Tuesday took the lives of twenty-one individuals, including 19 children and two adults.
The Texas school shooter, Salvador Ramos, began firing at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, some 85 miles west of San Antonio. Ramos was a part-time Wendy’s employee and a Uvalde resident who wrote about weapons on social media.

As reported by the officials, the shooting incident started when the suspect shot his grandmother, who survived. He then crashed his vehicle near the Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, about 80 miles (130 kilometers) west of San Antonio, before going on a murderous spree that ended when he was shot by police.

According to Governor Greg Abbott, Ramos was a student at Uvalde High School and a member of the 16,000-person community. He went on a deadly rampage there before being shot and killed by police. The reason for this was not readily apparent. Police are looking into his two social media accounts to figure out what motivated the awful crime.
According to state lawmaker Roland Gutierrez, who cited state police, the young shooter intimated on social media that an assault may be planned. He added that Ramos was born in North Dakota and had purchased two “assault rifles” after turning 18. Moreover, he was most certainly killed by responding cops, although the circumstances were still under investigation.
