Justin Guarini net worth: Justin Guarini is an American singer/songwriter and actor who has a net worth of $700 thousand. Justin Guarini built his net worth as a singer and songwriter. Curly-haired heartthrob Justin Guarini first rose to fame in 2002 as the runner-up to Kelly Clarkson on Fox TV’s first American Idol: The Search for a Superstar competition, winning the hearts of millions of teenage girls watching the show. Born in 1978, in Columbus, GA, he was only four years old when he started singing with the Atlanta Boys Choir. In high school he went on to perform with the acapella group, Midnight Voices, refining his talent further at Philadelphia’s University of Arts and at the School for Film & TV in New York City. Before joining American Idol, Justin Guarini worked as a salesman for ADT home security systems and for Cutting Edge Entertainment. Once he started performing on the show, he impressed judges and audiences with his renditions of Stevie Wonder’s For Once in My Life and Al Green’s Let’s Stay Together. However, the charismatic and talented crooner finished in second place, losing the title to Kelly Clarkson. While he didn’t end up as a grand-prize-winner, Guarini did score a contract with 19 Entertainment, the production company that created American Idol. His self-titled debut album was released in 2003, and the same year he starred in the critically panned flick From Justin to Kelly, where he starred opposite Clarkson. While his next album, titled Stranger Things Have Happened (2005), was just another proof that his recording career floundered, Guarini finally enjoyed success as a stage performer with his Broadway debut in the 2010 musical Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown. In 2011, he took on a lead role in the Broadway production of American Idiot, based on the 2004 concept album of the same name by the punk rock group, Green Day.
