According to CNN, David Mora Rojas has been identified as the father who fatally shot three of his children and another adult in a Sacramento church Monday night before killing himself.
His three kids have been named Samarah Mora Gutierrez, 9, Samantha Mora Gutierrez, 10, and Samia Mora Gutierrez, 13. The gunshot also killed Nathaniel Kong, 59, who was monitoring the family vacation.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office did not disclose any further information. According to Sacramento County Sheriff Scott Jones, the shooter had a restraining order against him and had to contact his children under supervision. He stated that the children’s mother was working with the police.

His daughters attended Natomas Unified School District, which said in a statement, “There are very few words that can provide solace right now for this horrific tragedy.”

What Are The Criminal Charges Of David Mora?
David Mora already had criminal charges before the assault. He was arrested before after he assaulted a patrol officer. Mora was arrested on February 23, secured bond, and was released after one night in jail.
According to court filings, Mora received a five-year domestic violence restraining order on May 19. It required him to stay at least 100 yards away from her and their girls, except for supervised visits of up to four hours that would be observed by a family member.
According to law enforcement authorities, they have yet to ascertain when and how Mora got the assault rifle used in the shooting. The incident happened at 5 p.m. Monday inside the Arden Arcade church. Within hours, the area was packed with police enforcement vehicles, reporters, and inquisitive bystanders.
