Biography of SG Lewis
It was in Liverpool, England that SG Lewis was born on July 9, 1994. Unlike many others who started music at a young age, Lewis was brought up in a family that was not at all musically inclined. However, he fell in love with art when he started watching MTV, which led to him playing in bands while still in high school. That said, his main goal since debut was to become a producer as he never considered acting as something he would want to do. More so, he describes himself as someone who is more of an introvert whose comfort zone is being in the background.
SG Lewis’ journey to becoming a music producer and star was not easy because apart from the fact that his family was not musically inclined, his friends were also the same. And so when he started his first band known as Superheroes, it was up to him to keep the band which was made up of some of his friends. They would only spend five minutes practicing the music, then move on to playing PlayStation, which would take them hours.
At first, it was difficult for him to get into the clubs due to his age, so he started learning how to produce on his own using video tutorials. It was from there that he began his solo career and in just a few years SG Lewis went from being an underground child musician to performing in London clubs as a mainstream star trying to make out of the ordinary.
In 2015, he released his EP Shivers followed by Letien in 2016, then two chapters of this EP trilogy, Crépuscule et Sombre. Dawn should drop soon.
Family
Much about SG Lewis’ family remains very much in the dark. As noted, the only thing known about his family is that they are not musically inclined. However, the family always gave him all the support he needed in his chosen career.
He is known to have a younger brother whose name is Joshua Lewis. Young Lewis is an actor who studied acting, singing and dancing.

1. He was a weird kid
Growing up, SG Lewis was a rather odd kid who spent much of his time in his room locked up and playing the guitar. It was from there that he moved on to DJ-ing and other things.
2. SG Lewis is signed to PMR Records
The British singer is signed to Ben and Daniel’s PMR records from Parmar. Lewis was still a student at Liverpool when he first signed the deal. It all seemed like a dream to him because the label was one of his favorites along with the likes of Disclosure and Jessie Ware.
3. He studied engineering and sound
When SG Lewis was studying in Liverpool, he studied engineering and sound. Considering he’s a great producer and singer today, you’d think he was good at things like audio engineering, but the truth is, he was really terrible at it.
4. Lewis has a brother who is an actor.
As noted, the singer and music producer has a younger brother who is an actor. He has appeared both on television, in theater productions and in films. Joshua who started acting from his school days attended Identity School Of Acting where he studied Professional Group Drama, Unseen Drama School and Jackie Palmer Academy where he spent a year completing an acting course. He appeared in the television production The Creation of Oscar Wilde (2018), the theater production Foxhunting (2018), and the film What Ever Happened to Evie (2017) among others.
