Principal’s Message
I find it a great honor to be part of Kolanya Boys High School in the capacity of the school principal. Having been around for the past few months, I find it a very conducive place for learners to develop and become the best in Kenya and beyond. Our vision is to see Kolanya Boys Highschool grow to become a model extra county school in character formation, academic excellence and talent development. We have the capacity and determination to achieve this dream. Personally, I’m impressed with the commitment and determination of the students.
This was demonstrated in the recent fire incident that consumed two of our dormitories that is Amboseli and Drakensberg. Despite one hundred and seventy (170)students losing virtually every personal item, they resolved to remain in school and continue learning. It is indeed encouraging to see the commitment displayed by teachers despite the heavy workload. I wish to most sincerely express my gratitude to all the teaching staff. My appreciation also goes to the non-teaching who have shown a lot of commitment in ensuring that their respective areas of jurisdiction are well attended to.
Finally, am indebted so much to thank all board of Management and PTA members and all other stakeholders and supporters led by our MP Teso North Hon. Oku Kaunya, Our sponsors, the Salvation Army church, Ministry of Education, TSC, NG-CDF (TesoNorth) and many others who have supported graciously the efforts to make Kolanya a greater school in this region. Allow me to end by thanking all parents who saw it good to give us their boys for four years. Success is not far for the chosen few but for the few who choose. let us remain focused and God-fearing and at the end, we shall emerge victoriously.Thank you all and may God bless you! My vision is to see the school take an upward leap to start competing with national schools.
