The youngest of four children, Ryan Reynolds is one of those stars who didn’t have their fame passed on to them by famous parents.

Her father, James Chester “Jim” Reynolds, was a food wholesaler, while her mother, Tammy, was a retail salesperson. In addition, two of his older brothers worked as police officers in British Columbia.
Ryan graduated from Kitsilano High School in Vancouver in 1994 and attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, also in Vancouver where he dropped out. His acting career began in 1993 when he landed a role at the age of 12, marking his first professional acting job. He was cast in a Canadian teen drama which was called Hillside and later renamed Fifteenwhen it was aired in the United States by Nickelodeon. The series aired from 1991 to 1993 and did not give Ryan the attention he was seeking. When the series ended, he starred in several sitcoms on Canadian television and had small roles in television movies to make ends meet. Yet the limelight did not find him. He also appeared in films like “Coming Soon”, “Dick” and “Finder’s Fee” and had a recurring role in 13 episodes of the television series “The Odyssey”.
In 1998, he played the main role of Michael “Berg” Bergen in the television series “Two Guys and a Girl”. The series continued until 2001 and had 81 episodes. Her performance in “Buying the Cow” (2002) eventually caught the eye of Artisan Studios, who offered her the title role in “Van Wilder” the same year.
Ryan’s film career kicked off in 2009 when he played the mercenary Deadpool in the box office hit ‘X-Men Origins: Wolverine’ starring Hugh Jackman.
For the most part, Ryan gradually made his way to the top and stayed there. His acting prowess has earned him several accolades including: The New Generation of Men Award; the Man of the Year award in 2003 and 2017 respectively; the Choice Movie Scary Scene award; the People’s Choice Award; the Critics’ Choice Movie Award and was proclaimed Artist of the Year 2016. The two decided to steal the show when Ryan Gosling walked to the stage to accept his award for Best Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy at the 2017 Golden Globes.
Maybe Ryan was trying to make the most of his time at the event because he didn’t win a Golden Globe for his performance as Deadpool. Notably, he had been nominated for the same award that Gosling won.
Regardless of his actions in movies and in real life, Ryan seems to only care about the opposite sex. At least we know he was married to two and dated many others.
