Ryan Lamb is the convicted murderer of his partner Ryan Nixon. He stabbed his boyfriend to death in August 2018. Robert Allison, Flathead Country District Court Judge, sentenced the convict to ten years in prison.
Lamb and his partner had been in a tumultuous relationship for around three years when he stabbed him to death. On August 5, 2018, Kalispell Police responded to a Flathead County residence on a two-mile drive after receiving a report of a possibly dead man.
In the trial, Lamb described his version of events leading up to the unfortunate stabbing death of his boyfriend, including the victim’s drunken and physically violent behavior. The convict was charged with felony deliberate homicide.

Flathead man Ryan Lamb stabbed his partner, Ryan Nixon, to death on August 5, 2018. He received a 10-year sentence at the Montana State Prison and is currently serving his sentence.
In December 2019, the convict entered an Alford plea to stabbing Nixon in 2018. He entered a plea of guilty by way of Alford to a negligent homicide on December 11, 2019, in connection to the tragic death of 31 years old Nixon.
According to Kalispell Police, Lamb stabbed his partner using a pair of scissors during a sexual encounter at a Two Mile Drive apartment complex in Kalispell during the early hours of August 5, 2018.
Nixon’s obituary described him as a beloved son, brother, uncle, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was born on August 14, 1986, in Denton, Texas, to his parents, Randy Nixon and Lynn Nixon.
His parents moved to Libby when he was two months. He then joined Libby schools, and his profession was that of an expert cook, a skill he learned from his loving mother. At the time of his death, Nixon lived and worked in Kalispell.
Criminal Convict Ryan Lamb Age
Ryan Lamb was thirty-four years when he killed his partner, Ryan Noxon. He was charged with felony deliberate homicide. Moreover, prosecutors allege that he was an abusive partner and that he stabbed his partner to death.
The defense team presented a different picture in which Nixon was the abusive partner, and Lamb stabbed him with scissors in self-defense as his partner attacked him with a fork.
In an emotional trial in Flathead County District Court, Nixon’s parents, Lynn and Randy Nixon took the stand and stated that they believed Lamb was quite abusive toward their son. Well, both said that they never personally witnessed him assaulting their son.
The parents described their son as hard-working, who always put others first and was really to help make someone smile. Randy said with tears and a stammering voice that Nixon was a perfect child. He even said he noticed cuts and bruises on his son shortly after he started seeing Lamb in 2015.
When he confronted his son about the cuts, Nixon denied that his partner, Lamb, had hurt him. Nevertheless, during their three-year relationship, he allegedly confessed to his father that he was worried about his partner hurting him.
Ryan Lamb Murder Motive -Convicted Murderer of Ryan Nixon
Prosecutors alleged that Ryam Land was an abusive partner and that he stabbed Ryan Nixon while having intercourse. The criminal convict has not stated the actual motive for killing his partner in August 2018.
However, the defense team painted a different side in which Nixon was violent, and Lamb stabbed him because he was violently attacking him using a fork. Moreover, evidence showed that he had approximately 16 wounds on his chest from a fork.
The 10-year sentence ended a case with multiple twists and turns, including a hung jury and a mistrial. Emotions ran high in the court throughout the trial. Nixon’s family expressed how they felt about their son in the courtroom.
Lynn Nixon asked, “What kind of person are you?” as he glared at Lamb. She also stated that her son would have never done such a criminal act to him. Randy Nixon said the killing of his beloved son left the family in a terrible place.
