Meet Patricia Booker
Patricia Booker was an Australian former shop assistant and flight attendant.
She was the first wife of Rupert Murdoch.
Booker and Murdoch married in 1956.
Through their union, the pair had one child, a daughter named Prudence Murdoch MacLeod.
Booker and Murdoch divorced in 1967 after eleven years of marriage. She died in 2000.
Meet Anna Torv
Scottish-Australian journalist and novelist, Anna Torv is the second wife of Rupert Murdoch.
She was born June 30, 1944, in Glasgow, Scotland to Jakob Tõrv, an Estonian merchant seaman, and Sylvia Braida, a Scottish dry cleaner.
Anna began her journalism journey at age 18 working on Sydney’s Daily Mirror, and also Sydney Daily Telegraph. She later served on the board of directors of News Corporation.
Anna and Murdoch married in 1967 while working for his Sydney newspaper The Daily Mirror.
The duo had three children; Elisabeth Murdoch, Lachlan Murdoch, and James Murdoch.
Murdoch and Anna divorced in June 1999. She then received a settlement of $1.2 billion in assets.
Following their divorce, Anna married William Mann from 1999 until he died in 2017. She remarried Ashton dePeyster in April 2019.
Meet Wendi Deng
Wendi Deng is well-known as the third wife of Rupert Murdoch.
Wendi is a Chinese-American entrepreneur, investor, movie producer, media mogul, and collector of Chinese contemporary art.
She was born on December 5, 1968, in Jinan, China to engineers Deng Dehui and Liu Xueqin. Wendi has two older sisters and a brother.
Wendi earned a BA in Economics from California State University at Northridge and an MBA from Yale University.
Deng and Murdoch married on June 25, 1999, just after 17 days divorcing his second wife, Anna. Wendi was then 30 and a newly appointed vice president of STAR TV in Hong Kong.
The former couple had two daughters; Grace Murdoch and Chloe Murdoch.
However, Deng and Murdoch divorced in 2013. Wendi was previously married to Jake Cherry (1990–1993).
Meet Jerry Hall
Jerry Hall is the fourth wife of Rupert Murdoch.
Hall is an American model and actress.
She was born on July 2, 1956, in Gonzales, Texas, United States to Marjorie Sheffield Hall and John P. Hall. Jerry has four siblings; Terry Hall, Cyndy Hall, Rosy Hall, and another sister whose name is not documented.
Hall commenced her modeling career in the 1970s and became one of the most sought-after models in the world. She then switched to acting.
As an actress, she is known for Batman (1989), Freejack (1992), Cluedo (1993), Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie (2016), and Hellbent (2018).
Jerry Hall met Rupert Murdoch in Australia in 2015 when she was touring in the stage adaption of The Graduate, playing Mrs. Robinson.
The pair married in London, at St Bride’s, Fleet Street with a reception at Spencer House on March 4, 2016, a week short of Murdoch’s 85th birthday.
But Hall filed for divorce on July 1, 2022, citing irreconcilable differences. The divorce was finalized in August 2022.
They had no children together, but Jerry Hall and her long-term partner, Mick Jagger has four children; Georgia May Jagger, Elizabeth Jagger, James Jagger and Gabriel Jagger.
