Nicholas Pritzker, II. Net Worth: Nicholas Pritzker, II. is an American investor who has a net worth of $1.4 billion. Belonging to one of the richest families in the United States today, Nicholas Pritzker, II. got back to billionaire rankings due to a 15% jump in price of Hyatt Hotel shares last year. One of the heirs to the extended Pritzker family fortune, he spent most of his career as the head of Hyatt’s new hotel development efforts. It was in 2009 that he left the day-to-day operations in the family business and officially retired. A loud opponent of death penalty, he teamed up with Netflix CEO Reed Hastings and DFS cofounder Chuck Feeney in an effort to repeal the capital punishment in California in the 2012 election. Even though Pritzker and Feeney each contributed $1 million toward the repeal, it turned out unsuccessful as voters chose to keep the controversial law.
