The couple has two daughters Lorin Gabriella and Venezia Bektas from their relationship. The father-daughter duo has reunited reportedly after 15 years apart.
Lorin and Venice left for Istanbul to reunite with their Turkish father. The ‘The House Arrest of Us” actress shared snippets of her dropping them at the airport, along with some pictures.
She took to her Instagram to update her feed with pictures and videos giving a sneak peek of her daughters meeting their father for the first time in 15 years. ‘The greatest love story of all time is between a father and his daughters,’ Gutierrez captioned ‘A beautiful and heartwarming reunion after 15 years of being apart.’
Gutierrez also captioned the video with the hashtag ‘#NewBeginnings’. Since she posted the video, the actress along with her ex-husband and daughters have been trending immensely.
‘My cuties, have a meaningful, memorable, and fun trip! Take lots of pics & videos. Better yet, vlog! I love you,’ the Filipino actress reminded the daughters.
Ruffa first teased about their potential reunion last June 8, when she uploaded a clip on Instagram highlighting her daughters’ childhood photos also some photos of Yilmaz and his family.
‘After 15 long years apart, a beautiful reunion will finally take place in Istanbul this weekend,’ Gutierrez captioned the Instagram post reportedly with the hashtag #TogetherAgain.

Talking about Ruffa Gutierrez’s relationship timeline, the actress was in a marital relationship with Yilmaz for a brief period of three years only.
Yilmaz Bektas and the Filipino actress officially announced their separation in 2007. The former couple’s marriage was reportedly annulled in 2012.
Last February, she marked the 10th year since the annulment of her marriage with Bektas. After their separation, the actress has since been vocal about the abuse she suffered from her ex-husband.
While the journey may have been “bittersweet,” the web personality said she had “no regrets” ending their marriage. In fact, Gutierrez is grateful for the person she has become today.
