Roman Kemp is a British radio host and television personality who was born on January 28, 1993. He has been the host of the Capital FM breakfast show since 2017, and he has been the host of the national radio network since 2014.
Kemp placed third in the nineteenth season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here in 2019. Spandex Challet’s current main singer, Roman, is a tribute to the band.
Kemp is the son of singer Shirlie Holliman and musician and actor Martin Kemp. Harley Moon is his older sister (b. 1989). His godfather was the late singer George Michael. In the same year as KSI, Kemp attended Berkhamsted School until he was 15 years old.
In November 2014, Kemp began hosting the Sunday 6–9 am show on Capital FM. A year later, he was given the opportunity to interview performers for his show on Saturday from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday from 9 p.m. to 12 a.m.
In addition to his Sunday show, Kemp took over as presenter of The Capital Evening Show in February 2016. It airs on weeknights from 7 to 10 p.m. The Capital Breakfast with Vick Hope program debuted in 2017 with Kemp hosting it from 6 am to 10 am in London and from 6 am to 9 am on the Network. This led him to leave the evening performance. 2018 saw Sonny Jay commit full-time to co-presenting Capital Breakfast.
