Roger Griffiths EastEnders
He was cast as D.I. Riddick in a British soap opera EastEnders. Based in Albert Square in London’s East End in Walford’s fictitious city, the show follows the experiences of local residents and their families in their everyday lives. Originally there were two 30-minute episodes a week, later rising to three, but after 2001, episodes were transmitted every weekday except Wednesday (outside special occasions).
Thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic, the three-month interruption of production in 2020 contributed to a reduction of the show’s broadcast to two 30-minute episodes a week, and finally to a transmission break. Filming limitations would result in the show returning to broadcast with four 20-minute episodes a week.
Roger Griffiths Doctor Who
He was cast as Gabriel Drummond in the British soap opera Family Affairs. He played the role from June 2002 until the character’s departure in September 2003 after running away from his involvement in a car scam.
It premiered on 30 March 1997, and each week was screened as five episodes of thirty minutes. The show never received high ratings so many drastic revamps of the show were undertaken by the creators. To offer a film look the series was shot on camera. Single episodes used regular video presentations for research purposes between 1999 and 2004. From September 2005 until the final season, producer Sean O’Connor moved to the traditional video presentation.
