Robert Krakoff Wikipedia
Robert Krakoff is not a known name to the world but the impact he has left the world through his creation is humongous. He was the co-founder along with the former president of one of the first gaming hardware companies called Razer.
The man is known as the pioneer of the gaming mouse. In 1999, he was responsible for that mouse called the Razer Boomslang. It not only kickstarted the journey of his new startup idea but built up the foundation for the huge gaming industry. In 2022, he went forward to promote his mouse with the help of professional gamer Johnathan “Fatal1ty” Wendel.
Mr. Wendel signed a sponsorship deal with Robert’s razer before the term esports got introduced.
Origin tales may be difficult to follow, and Razer’s is more intricate than most. Razer wasn’t a firm until 2005; it was the trademarked name of Kärna, which had produced an optomechanical encoding wheel that could monitor a mouse’s motions at 2000 dpi, a resolution significantly greater than other mice at the time.
Even though optical mice were becoming popular, the original gaming mouse rolled on wheels.
