Robert Kardashian was an American attorney and businessman. He was born on February 22, 1944, in Los Angeles, California. He was the son of Arthur Kardashian and Helene Jean Arakelian Kardashian.
Robert attended Susan Miller Dorsey High School and the University of Southern California, from which he graduated in 1966 with a B.S degree in business administration. He earned a J.D degree from the University of San Diego School of Law and practised for about a decade.
Robert proved to be a loyal friend to Simpson in 1994 in the wake of the murder of his ex-wife and her friend, Ron Goldman. He was by Simpson’s side in the days after these killings took place, letting him stay in his home. Robert rose to the limelight after Simpson refused to turn himself in to the police, choosing to flee with a friend. Robert read a suicide note, during a press conference.
After a televised police chase, Simpson was captured and eventually brought to trial in 1995 for the two murders. Robert, then a full-time businessman, got his legal credentials reinstated to become a member of Simpson’s team of lawyers, which also included Shapiro, Johnnie Cochran and F. Lee Bailey.
