Rob Wu Biography
Rob Wu is an American anchor, reporter currently working as News Anchor on Spectrum News on ABC 45. He spent the last 2+ years running In and around Houston reporting for Fox 26. An experience that left him with countless memories (rather than bore you with the usual “covered high-profile stories such as X, Y, Z. and appeared on Fox News for A, B, C, there’s a music video he put together on his YouTube with some highlights!).

Wu has not revealed much about his education. Though he played the violin growing up and had the chance to take the stage at Madison Square Garden Theater and Lincoln Center when he was in high school.

His second time around with Spectrum News. Rob kicked off his reporting career with Spectrum News Central New York. After moving on to jobs in Winston-Salem and Houston, Rob has relocated down south as an anchor for the Spectrum News Greensboro team. As a New York City native, Rob attributes the refreshing southern hospitality as part of what made the move to this southern market impossible to resist.
A 3-year stint that ended when he took a reporter job in Winston-Salem, Greensboro, High Point during his first stop in North Carolina. For the first time in his life, he lived outside of New York. People asked him if he experienced culture shock. No, the culture shock was transitioning from New York City to Syracuse for four years.
A big part of what convinced me to come back was the familiarity with a company he enjoyed working for, combined with the friendliness he experienced during his first go-around in North Carolina.
Outside of work he enjoyed watching and playing sports, both real and fantasy. he likes to think of himself as a sharpshooter on the hardwood, but his net skills and serve need work on the tennis court.
