The death of Lucy Croghan was announced with a feeling of profound sorrow. On June 26th, 2023, the four-year-old girl peacefully left this world.
She found solace in the loving embrace of her mother Zara, after displaying immense courage and dignity throughout her long battle with illness.
Lucy was from An Choirrsceach, Frenchpark, Co. Roscommon. Affectionately known as Warrior Princess; she will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.
Her baby sister Lisa and she recently departed grandmother Zaneta (Dee) preceded her in death.
Lucy will lie in repose at home from 9 p.m. on Tuesday, with visitation continuing all day on Wednesday.
The Funeral Mass “Mass of the Angels,” will be at St. Asicus’ Church in Frenchpark on Thursday at 12 noon, followed by her burial in Cloonshanville Cemetery.
Thursday morning is reserved for the privacy of the family. The Funeral Mass can also be viewed online through the provided link for those unable to attend.

Following Lucy Croghan’s death, her parents, Zara and Sean, are left heartbroken and so are her brothers and sisters Sean, Luke, Andy, Aaron, Siobhan, and Amy.

Lucy was surrounded by everyone who deeply loved her during her demise, making her departure peaceful.
Likewise, Dowd also mentioned that Lucy’s remarkable spirit motivated and inspired the whole community.
The Facebook Page representing the Fairmount, Tibohine, Frenchpark, and Ballinagare Churches conveyed that Lucy had joined “the Angels of God in Heaven.”
They extended their prayers to the little girl who has joined the Angels of God in Heaven and kept her broken family in their thoughts.
May she find eternal peace cradled in God’s loving arms,” the heartfelt message expressed.
