Ricky Martin And Nephew: Was Ricky Martin in a relationship with his nephew?

Allegations that Ricky Martin had a romantic involvement with his nephew are being refuted.

In a statement, Martin’s attorney, Marty Singer, says, “Unfortunately, the person who made this claim is struggling with deep mental health challenges. Ricky Martin has, of course, never been — and would never be — involved in any kind of sexual or romantic relationship with his nephew.”

“The idea is not only untrue, it is disgusting,” he continued. “We all hope that this man gets the help he so urgently needs. But, most of all, we look forward to this awful case being dismissed as soon as a judge gets to look at the facts.”

A week after a Puerto Rico judge granted a restraining order against the singer, Martin’s attorney made a statement and a new accusation was made against him.

Axel Valencia, a police spokesman, previously informed The Associated Press that he was unable to disclose information on the requester of the restraining order since it was made in accordance with Puerto Rico’s domestic violence law.
