Rick claims that it’s also great casting because Eminem was one of the first to express interest in filming a film about Rick’s life.
Richard got the moniker “White Boy Rick” for the uninformed during a cocaine trafficking trial in the 1980s. Richard was recruited by the FBI as an undercover informant when he was just 14 years old, but he went rogue and was busted for drug trafficking.
Rick was sentenced to life in prison in 1987. However, he was granted parole in July 2020 and was released.
