Rick and Morty Season 4 Part 2 Netflix Release Date

It’s been two years since we saw the last episode of Rick and Morty. When the sci-fi comedy series first aired, nobody knew that it would be such a hit. The mixture of humor, drama, and adventure made Rick and Morty something of a cultural phenomenon. Fortunately, the wait is over, and season 4 is upon us.

Hopefully, season 4 won’t lead to riots at fast-food restaurants, but we expect another hilarious season. Keep reading to find out season 4’s release date, what to expect in the upcoming season, and whether you will get the chance to watch Rick and Morty on Netflix.

Rick and Morty Season 4 Part 2 Netflix Release Date

Unfortunately, Rick and Morty won’t come to Netflix US. Rick and Morty will form part of the HBO Max service set to be rolled out in May 2020. Hulu also has rights to Rick and Morty, and season 4 will appear on the platform after it appears on HBO Max.

At the moment, you can catch episodes of Rick and Morty on the Adult Swim website.

The first five episodes of season 4 aired in the UK on Channel 4 on 20th November 2019. The final five episodes will air weekly from May 14th 2020. Rick and Morty is one of the most popular Netflix titles in the UK. We expect season 4 to appear on Netflix a few months after the final episode airs on Channel 4. Sadly, Rick and Morty season 4 won’t come to Netflix Canada.

The first five episodes of Rick and Morty were made available for Netflix subscribers in Australia, mainland Europe, Asia, South America, and South Africa on 22nd December 2019. The final five episodes of season 4 are set to air on Adult Swim between May 3rd and May 31st 2020. Netflix is currently updating Rick and Morty in the above-stated regions weekly.

Depending on your region, a new episode of the show will be available on Netflix three to seven days after it appears on Adult Swim. For instance, a new episode is available in India seven days after it appears on Adult Swim, while in South Africa, the same episode is available after three days.

How did the Rick and Morty season 3 end?

It’s been two years since the last episode of season 3 aired, and we thought we would save you the trouble of having to re-watch it. Rick and Morty embark on a mission to destroy monsters that reside below the White House. They do it with minimal fuss, but the President is mad that they left without notifying him.

As all of this is happening, Beth realizes that she might be a clone. She goes on a fact-finding mission to find out whether she is a clone or the ‘real’ Beth. Rick assures Beth that she isn’t a clone, but she isn’t satisfied. Beth goes to Jerry to use her failed relationship with him to figure out her identity.

This mission leads Beth to conclude that she is still in love with Jerry. Together, they hide the kids in a cabin away from Rick. Rick shows up with a machine gun, stating that he wants to kill Jerry. You might remember that Rick and Jerry have a strained relationship.

However, Beth makes it clear that she wants to reunite her family. Rick has the option to move into a parallel universe to escape his dysfunctional family, but he chooses to stay. He might not show it, but he cares about his family. However, season 3 didn’t reveal whether Beth a clone.

What to expect in Rick and Morty season 4

The directors of Rick and Morty gave us some cryptic descriptions of what is set to happen in season 4 via Twitter. It would take a genius to decipher what those descriptions meant. However, the last episode of season 3 gave us some pointers on what to expect.

The events of the last episode featured a sort of a reset point for Rick and Morty. Beth retook control of her family from Rick, and we will see how the characters deal with the power shift. We are also set to see a more independent Morty. Morty’s mom sold him this idyllic version of Rick that has slowly eroded over the past few seasons.

Jerry and Beth got back together, and we will get to see how long the relationship lasts. The season 4 trailer shows that we are set for great adventures. We can also expect more Rick and Morty brutality and humor.
