Although she made it clear what she was fighting, her boss did not seem to care. His response could only be considered shocking. Your position has easily been filled.”
Rhylee Gerber Dating | Rhylee Gerber Boyfriend
Things quickly got pretty steamy between Rhylee and Tyler Rowland in Season 6 of Below Deck. But then, their first official date together off the boat would also prove to be their last when Tyler told Rhylee he didn’t see a future with his fellow deckhand.
Though it seemed like there was a chance that Rhylee and Tyler could be more than just friends once again during the Below Deck Season 6 reunion, both of the yachties told The Daily Dish backstage at the taping that they were dating other people.
But Tyler’s latest post on Instagram has left us very intrigued about his current relationship status with Rhylee. Tyler shared a series of photos on July 11 that shows him and Rhylee together. “You complete me,” Tyler wrote in the post, along with “#summerlove.”
As if not so, Tyler too posted a cheeky photo of himself and Rhylee in honor of Independence Day. “Rhy and I wish you all a Happy & Safe 4th of July,” he wrote in the post.
However, Rowland’s tone suddenly shifted from playful to attack mode on Gerber. He taunted her return and then celebrated when she stopped following him on Instagram. “Look who don’t follow me NO MOOOREEEE,” he wrote. Gerber also shared a screenshot of a Twitter exchange between Rowland and another fan. He mocked the moment in the show where she struggled to tie a particular type of knot. Rowland also didn’t seem to be keen on seeing her return for season 7 either.
Despite being in a new relationship, Rowland can’t seem to quit the fiery redhead. Gerber shared that for some reason Rowland has been combative ever since she wished him well, plus revealed a recent text exchange between the two.
Gerber publicly shared a recent text exchange with Rowland. Rowland asked Gerber to avoid talking about his new girlfriend but then shares that he misses her. He first calls out the interview Gerber did for Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “Wtf dude that article,” Rowland wrote in the Instagram story Gerber shared.
Rowland insisted he never asked for Gerber’s blessing. “And I already told you not to bring my gf into anything,” he added. Gerber threatened to share the actual exchange and then Rowland became combative. “I’m not a f**king genie bitch. I’m asking for respect for the fact my gf is a teacher. Idc what you do me, keep her out of it for her career,” he wrote.
Rowland then added that he and Gerber are still friends too. But Gerber clarified.
“We aren’t friends, Tyler. And for your sake, I hope she’s the one.” Rowland then softened. He expressed that he was happy for Gerber in her new relationship. But then added, “Rhylee I miss you,” he wrote.
He shared that he missed Gerber three times in the exchange, then added that his girlfriend went out with friends.
Rhylee Gerber Dog
Gerber has a soft spot, especially for her loved ones, which includes her longtime furry friend, Dolce. Sadly, she posted on Instagram that Dolce recently underwent a major surgery that resulted in the pup losing an eye.
“My sweet Dolce had an ulcer in her right eye resulting in almost complete loss of vision. The decision to remove the eye was based on her old age as well as the immense daily pain it caused her and the possibility of recovery not being at [100] percent with merely sewing her third eyelid shut. Dolce has been by my side through many travels to include 7 cross country trips from Florida to Alaska and back for the last 13 years. She is quite literally, my whole heart. She’s got her appetite at least and has been diligently sleeping away the pain.”
Rhylee Gerber Seward Alaska | Rhylee Gerber Captain Alaska
Although Rhylee may catch some flack from fans and the M/Y Seanna crew about her background and behavior, Rhylee said that she’s proud of where she comes from and the person she has become, admitting that her “mouthiness” is just part of who she is. “I’m proud to be from Alaska, I’m proud to be a f–king captain, and I’m proud of myself.
I don’t think that I’m aggressive. I know that I’m boisterous, for sure, but I’ve said it before: I’m reactionary, and that’s something I need to work on, but I’d so much rather have an opinion and voice that opinion versus not,” she told The Daily Dish. “That’s just my personality. And I’ve always been a loud and opinionated person, and it wasn’t because of the show; it was because it’s just me.”
Rhylee Gerber And Ross Inia
Rhylee and bosun Ross Inia from Below Deck often get into altercations on the show. From arguing about work to their personal lives, the two seem to butt heads at every turn. While they try to see eye to eye and usually makeup, they continue to spar, even long after the show wrapped.
Following the second to the last episode of the show, Rhylee teased Inia about dating a charter guest. She found an image on Inia’s public Instagram story and posted it in a Twitter thread. The thread was started by chief stew Kate Chastain where she shaded that same guest for behaving badly while on charter.
