Lovelis began her career as she formed a group called ‘Cherry Bomb’ in 2008 while in middle school along with her sister, Nia, Julia Pierce, lead vocalist and Miranda, backup vocalist and rhythm guitarist. Later, in 2011they singed with Hollywood Record and released their first EP Stark in 2011.
On May 5, 2012, they released their first studio album, ‘This Is the End of Control’ which was praised and lauded by critics. This album reached #11 on the Top Heatseekers chart and #24 on the Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. After one year, their lead vocalist, Julia Pierce left the crew then Rena stepped up as a lead vocalist and rebranded the band as ‘Hey Violet’ in 2015.
After rebranding the band, Hey Violet released their first album ‘I Can Feel It’ in July 2015 and another album later on August 16, 2016. Furthermore, she has some movies to her credit like ‘School of Rock’ and ‘We Had This Band’ in 2016 and ‘Wish Upon’ in 2017.
