Willow, the 1988 film, has now been turned into a television series where the events after the movie take place. Willow’s children will also be seen as grown-ups. Annabelle Davis portrayed Mims, but Ranon’s character is not featured on the show.

The sequel movie premiered on November 30, 2022.

Who Is Mims In Willow?

Mims is the daughter of Kaiya and Willow Ufgood who lived in Nelwyn. Mims is the character in 1988 film The Willow.

In the movie, she and her brother Ranon discover baby Elora Danon drifting in the River Green. Everyone in The High Aldwin was ecstatic to see the arrival of their savior when Elora showed up one day.

Mims is a positive character who protects Elora and Willow by lying to Ballantine about them. She remained in Nelwyn when Elora and Willow searched for an abducted Airk.

When Ballantine got there, he asked her where Elora was; she knew he was not looking for Elora for a good purpose. Thus, she lied to him and said she and Willow returned to Tir Asleen.

Dawn As Mims

Dawn Downing played the role of Mims in the movie. In the new willow series, Annabelle Davis portrayed the part of a grown-up character. She is also the daughter of Warwick Davis, who plays Willow.

Dawn, born in 1982, was six years old when she played a role in the 1988 film. She is now in her 40s, living an everyday life away from the limelight. She did not return to movies after that role.

Who Is Ranon In Willow?

Ranon is the older brother of Mims and the son of Willow Ufgood. He was the firstborn child of Kaiya and Willow and had a sister.

He and his sister were the ones to discover Elora when they were playing by the riverside. They bring her to their home.

The villagers think both children have inherited the magic power from their father. Ranon had an uncanny talent for spotting fish in the river, whereas Mims could make paintings of events that come to pass.

Mark As Ranon

The character, Ranon, was played by Mark Vandebrake. He was born on July 28, 1980, in Granite Falls, Minnesota, USA.

He also did not return to the movie industry after his appearance in Willow. And in the new series, there is no Ranon character, but when Hollywood Reporter interviewed Davis, he said that he does not know where Ranon is at the point when the series picks up.

He also said that Ranon is out there somewhere but does not know where. And he also added that there are a few things that have happened to Willow, which only Davis knows. So, there seems to be a story about Ranon’s absence from the show.
