It was the Japanese blogger who posted a video on January 2, 2018, in reaction to the controversial video of Logan Paul, filmed on December 31, 2017, in the Japanese forest of Aokigahara, known for a large number of suicides and described as suicidal forest.

Scully showed deep knowledge of his people’s tradition by explaining that cremation is an important part of death in Japanese culture, the importance of December 31 for Japanese people, and that Aokigahara is not a tourist attraction, like said Paul. She said he doesn’t really respect the Japanese as a people, but sees them as caricatures. However, Logan Paul’s actions and their consequences have not affected how the Japanese view foreigners.

Her post, however, was given a rough ride by Paul’s fans, while many others saw their comments as an example of toxic behavior that needs to be discouraged.
