Rebecca is a 21-year-old student who has been arrested in Russia for her act of disrespecting the war memorial. She has been charged under the Rehabilitation of Nazism, which many believe to be far-fetched charged for the inane and harmless acts.
As per Dailymail, she might face three years in jail and a fine of up to 3 million rubles (£28,888) if she is found guilty in the investigation. She has said that her action was driven by a joke, not disrespect.
The memorial where she twerked was maintained as an homage to soldiers who fought against Nazis. As of now, it looks like she will have a very difficult time getting out of this particular fiasco.
