Raymond Twomey Duncan (born 1930) is a winemaker and entrepreneur from the United States. Following a successful career in oil entrepreneurship in Colorado as the creator of Duncan Oil, he went on to co-found Silver Oak Cellars with Justin Meyer in 1972, which became a profitable winery with locations in both the Napa Valley and the Alexander Valley. Silver Oak Cellars, as well as Twomey Cellars, are now managed by David Duncan and Tim Duncan, who are his sons. Duncan founded the Durango Mountain “Purgatory” Ski Resort in 1965 and served as the chairman of the board of directors for the ski industry group Colorado Ski Country USA for a number of years. In 2006, he was honoured with induction into the Colorado Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame.
