More On Rashad Jennings Family Life
Rashad Jennings was born to his parents Albert Jennings and Deborah Jennings. He comes from a family with an athletic background.
His late father, Albert, was a former college football player. Albert played at the University of Nebraska before he joined US Air Force.
Dancing with the Stars performer Rashad opened up about his not-so-good relationship with his dad.
Though Albert was his first coach and source of motivation, on which basis he chose to pursue a career in football, he had had a love-hate relationship with him.
Jennings was never a fan of Albert drinking and smoking. Sometimes it got worse, and later, his father was diagnosed with diabetes. He was in critical condition, barely able to walk.
Mr. Jennings’s legs had to be amputated for him to survive. Rashad and his mom took good care of him following that. In 2015, Rashad bought a lovely home for his parents.
Sadly, Albert took his last breath in March 2020, Jennings confirmed via his post on Facebook. He captioned the post with an emotional message to wave his final goodbye to his beloved dad.
His family members include two older brothers, Bryan and Butch Jennings. They both had a fair share of their career spent playing football.
Bryan even played in NFL for a brief period. He now serves as a head coach of their local institute Huguenot High School.
