Quando Rondo, a rapper from Georgia who was involved in a shooting in Los Angeles on Friday, is safe.
TMZ reports, that several armed men drove to a West Hollywood gas station and started shooting, killing one person. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital but passed away there.
In a white sedan, the suspects sped away.
Rapper Quando Rondo Shooting Video Gone Viral
The rapper from Georgia, Quando Rondo, was reportedly shot on Friday night (August 19), according to HipHopdx. But he allegedly escaped unharmed.
His shooting video has gone viral on social media. Quando was captured on camera by Fox 11 Los Angeles and ABC7 appearing to be noticeably “distressed” as police pulled his friend(victim), Lul Pab, out of the car.
Quando appears very animated in the videos, flailing his arms and falling backward. He once witnesses the police pulling a body from a black Escalade and immediately runs away while screaming in pain.
Law enforcement told TMZ that a group of gunmen drove up to a Beverly Grove gas station and started shooting, striking a young man.
The rapper’s friend was shot in the Beverly Grove neighborhood, and although he was taken to the hospital, he eventually passed away from his wounds.
Authorities believed that Quando and his crew were refueling at a gas station when three men in a white car approached their black Cadillac Escalade and started shooting.
Rapper Quando Rondo Is Alive Not Dead
Rapper Quando Rondo is alive as reported by his representative. Unfortunately, his friend, Lul Pab could not survive the gunshot and passed away on the way to the hospital.
A report from KABC mentioned a 23-year-old man was removed from the SUV and rushed to the hospital.
Initially believed to be the Georgia native, the man is now known to be his friend.
Although it is still unknown whether there was a shooting exchange, we do know that Lul Pab was allegedly shot while inside the SUV. The shooters are still at large in White Sudan.
Quando Rondo Was Almost Shot In LA
Quando Rondo was caught in a hell of the bullets in LA, fortunately, he was not shot.
A spokesperson for the rapper stated, “Quando was present during a shooting yesterday evening that tragically claimed the life of another young man.”
“He is safe and didn’t suffer any injuries during the shooting. At this time, we request that his privacy be respected.”
Gun violence is nothing new for Quando. In May 2021, he and his crew were the targets of gunfire in Blackshear, Georgia.
The news comes almost two years after King Von was allegedly murdered in November 2020 by Rondo’s friend Timothy “Lul Tim” Leeks.
On November 6, a fatal incident took place outside an Atlanta nightclub after a fight between two groups quickly turned into gunfire.
Von was one of those who had gunshot wounds and was taken right away to the hospital. After a short while, he was declared dead.
Rondo revealed that following the incident, club promoters are reluctant to book him during an interview with All Around TV last summer.
“Since they are afraid, no one wants to hire me,” Rondo said. “That is the reality. I wish the fans would just let that shit go, said a lot of the callers. so long as you discuss it. They are exaggerating this shite.”
He also talked about the threats to his life he has received as a result of his involvement with Von’s passing.
