After killing the man, he went to his workplace, changed his clothes, and washed the knife. The court heard that Creole felt threatened because the victim was a homeless man during the hearing.
The defense was not convincing enough for the judge, and he said that homelessness could not be a reason to take someone’s life. Thus, he was sentenced to 16 years.
