She is currently employed in the United States as the host of National Public Radio’s syndicated music program, World Cafe.
After completing her studies on radio and television broadcasting at Ryerson University, Raina interned with CFNY-FM (102.1 The Edge) in Toronto in 2009. She then left CNFY in 2012 and began working for CBC Radio 3.
A year later, she changed her workplace with Toronto’s new CIND-FM (Indie 88).
But, Raina returned to CBC in 2016 and began hosting CBC Music’s national morning show Mornings and CBC Television’s CBC Music Backstage Pass.
