Rachel Wong & Olivia Wu From Singapore Cheating Allegations

Rachel Wong from Singapore faces cheating allegations from Olivia Wu. The latter alleges that the social media influence had cheated on her ex-husband Anders Aplin.

According to Asia One, Anders and Rachel met at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), both in the same faculty, Nanyang Business School.

Although they had met each other in the orientation camp, they got to know each other in a scuba diving club. They both joined the school’s scuba diving club, which organized a diving trip to Tioman to obtain their driving license.

They became friends there and stayed in touch after the vacation. After a few months, they began dating, and in 2019, Aplin proposed to her. They had a grand wedding that became the talk of the town in 2019.

However, their marriage did not last long as they decided to annul their relationship after four months of their wedding. They filed for divorce in 2020, but it was legally annulled in 2021.

During the divorce processing, Olivia shared a series of Instagram Stories with the hashtag “Cheater of 2020,” implying that Rachel Wong had been unfaithful to her ex-partner.

She claimed that Wong had been intimate with at least two people: a man named Han, Wong’s gym trainer, and a man named Wan, who was the wedding emcee for Wong and Aplin.

Rachel Wong Filing A Lawsuit On Olivia Wu For Defamation

Rachel Wong had filed a lawsuit against Olivia Wu for defamation. As a social media influence, her large source of income comes from her content on social networking sites as she gets business deals and partnerships from it.

Thus, an allegation of cheating has hurt her reputation. It has become a hot topic of discussion on the internet, and people criticize her. As a result, she decided to drag Olivia to court.

As the legal proceedings continued, the court granted Wu access to Wong’s correspondence (including text messages) and journal entries to justify the Instagram posts she had posted about him.

As mentioned by Mothership, she had provided screenshots to back up her claims that Wong and Han had exchanged intimate and sexual text messages via Telegram. She also included a diary entry from Wong and an “intimate snapshot” of Wong and Wan.

They were used to back up Wu’s claim that Wong had been intimate with and had feelings for Wan while she was still dating Aplin. While the social media sensation denied the allegations, her defenses were insufficient.
