Rachael Rollins

Rachael Rollins is an American lawyer and politician. She is the Suffolk Country District Attorney in Massachusetts, including the municipalities of Boston, Chelsea, Revere, and Winthrop. She assumed office in 2019. 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in education and African-American studies from the  University of Massachusetts Amherst, a Juris Doctor from the Northeastern University School of Law, and a Masters of Law in Labour and unemployment law from the Georgetown University Law Center.

Rollins is the first woman to hold Suffolk Country D.A.’s office and the first woman of color to serve as a Massachusetts D.A.
