Rabiu Kwankwaso urges voters not to forget PDP, APC maladministration

Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate for the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), has encouraged people to remember the mismanagement of the country under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Speaking to reporters in Gusau, the capital of Zamfara State, Kwankwaso claimed that the main difference between the candidates for the APC and the PDP was that the latter promised to keep doing more of the same things to Nigerians.

He claimed that the Nigerian people have first-hand knowledge of the corruption and insecurity throughout the PDP and APC governments.

He said voters should back him because he plans to improve the country.

Kwankwaso stated that the NNPP’s plan is for the country as a whole and includes solutions to its security problem.

He said that when he was minister of defence, the military was used well, even in other countries, to deal with security problems.

Despite a large number of Military, Police, DSS, and NSCDS, as well as financial resources, “it is shameful that the APC-led federal government has failed to tackle untrained bandits in the forest,” he said.

He suggested that voters in the northern states, where people are being slain daily, who are still debating whether to elect the PDP or the APC, should be evaluated by a psychiatrist.

A sane person, he continued, “cannot approve the continuation of these bad acts by electing PDP or APC candidates,” given the daily deaths and kidnappings of their loved ones.

The NNPP presidential candidate has pledged to raise educational standards and provide employment possibilities for the country’s large youth population.

While serving as governor of Kano State, he ensured that all of the state’s children who qualified for college went there.

He pleaded with voters to support the NNPP so that the country could have honest and ethical leadership.
